North Korea plans to transfer at least 150 KN-23 short-range ballistic missiles, as well as artillery shells and systems, to the Russians in 2025.

Artillery is used to support both North Korean and Russian operations, while missiles are intended only for Russian targets.

Budanov reported that over the past three months, North Korea has transferred to Russia approximately 120 M1989 “Koksan” 170 mm self-propelled artillery mounts and 120 M-1991 240 mm multiple launch rocket systems. It is expected that the DPRK will send at least the same number of these equipment to the Russians in the future.

Separately, the head of the GUR emphasized the possibility of the Russians receiving North Korean KN-23 ballistic missiles, which had previously entered service with Putin's army.

“Most of these weapons are either used against Ukrainian troops or for training in Russia,” Budanov noted.

The head of Ukrainian intelligence noted that the DPRK may additionally send reinforcements in the form of infantry to the Kursk region in 2025.

“We don’t expect to see many new ground troops. They (North Korea’s military – ed.) are like biological robots,” he stressed.
